Our Story
Founded by Woody and Kim Moldenhauer, Ben Rae Design & Remodel is built on a foundation of real experience, craftsmanship, and a commitment to doing things the right way. Woody’s career began in the field as an installer—personally doing the work and learning the trade from the ground up.
That hands-on experience was shaped early on by his father, a union carpenter with skill across every facet of remodeling. Through that influence, Woody developed a deep respect for quality craftsmanship and a deep understanding of how a project should be built—not just designed.
Over time, Woody transitioned into the design and business side of the industry, spending over 14 years refining his ability to guide projects from concept to completion.
Today, Woody and Kim lead a team with over 35 years of combined experience, delivering spaces that are thoughtfully designed and expertly built.
